I’m so ashamed of myself! I spent all day cooking and baking and I totally spaced taking photos. We even had friends over and nothing! Which is so sad to me because I value photos. They are a visual representation of memories. I guess that’s the photographer in me coming out.
Well I baked a nice ham in pomegranate juice, maple-walnut yams, slow-cooked mashed potatoes, banana bread, Cajun green beans and corn, and made some honey butter. The friends I invited over brought a turkey, pie, and stuffing.
Overall it was a fun day. I was able to laugh and spread joy with people I love. I did miss my family but luckily for me my best friend got stranded in Spokane do to bad weather and my family adopted her temporally, so in other words I’ll be able to live the holiday vicariously through her.
Thanksgiving is such a great time to remember all the blessings in your life.
I’m thankful for so much!
- Positive changes happening with work
- Being able to go to Tennessee last weekend and have a pre-holiday with the Kadrons
- My marriage growing stronger every day
- David having a good job
- Having a mom who is always there for me and supporting me
There are so many more things but those are the main things that come to mind. What are you thankful for this year?
